Copying files from one Windows Explorer window to another doesn't reflect updated files in source folder

I was trying to copy recently updated files from a folder on my laptop (Win7 Home Premium 64bit), to a folder on the company server, and it skipped files that had been updated using another program.
The date-time stamp of the files in the source folder were
not updated, and there does not appear to be a "refresh" menu option as there was in XP (and possibly Vista).
I had to read another directory and then return to the source and select all files to copy so that the proper date-time stamps would be used.
This
could be a MAJOR problem if I assume that I have copied the latest versions of files to another machine or a backup disk.
The application I am using to update the files is Microchip MPLAB 8.63, but it also seems to be a problem if I just edit a file with Notepad.
It also might be only for a multiple select of all select.
Actually, perhaps, I just needed to refresh both the source and the destination to reflect the new date-time stamps.
But IMHO any move or copy (or save) operation should refresh the file lists in Windows explorer.

·        Is your computer on a workgroup or a domain?
·        Has the computer ever been connected to a domain?
·        Are you updating in the parent folder?
I would suggest you to do a manual F5 refresh.

In this method we will try to Boot in Safe mode with Networking and see if the error still persists.

• Search "MSCONFIG" and Open.
• Click on Boot Tab
• Tick Safe Boot in Boot Option
• Select Network.
• Click Apply and OK.
• Reboot your System.
