Compress/Encode/Decode/Decompress all in IE

I am using the code below in Internet Explorer and at first the compression and decompression seems to work, however, when I try to decompress and decode, the text is not the same.
If I compress and encode in Firefox, and then decompress and decode the
value in internet explorer, it works.
I need IE to do all of that in itself, rather than having FF to compress and encode before IE can decompress and decode.
I would like to know if there is a problem with IE and compressing/encoding/decoding/decompressing
text.
If so, is there a fix for IE, or a fix for the code? Here is the code: (Note that all of the compression/decompression/encoding/decoding works in FF)
