Troubleshooter of Error: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. Please just begin the dialogue.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. Please just begin the dialogue.

The computer is no longer a tool, I feel like a slave and have not felt desperation like this at any time in my history of computer use.
When I have tried to search for answers in the community, I have clicked links for the solution in recent posts and receive a
standardized message that this link is unavailable now, please try back later.  How can I even begin, if I can not move forward?
I do not feel safe on-line.  I am not checking my
emails.  EVERY RED FLAG SEEMS TO BE GOING OFF AT THE SAME TIME and I have not experienced this feeling before.
I purchased Win 8 in October 2012 and was not installed until May 2013, after hard drive failure, a rescue and a new hard drive installed.
The rest of the my story seems complicated to me, so if you could just
help me out by starting a dialogue with a question, I know the answer is at my fingertips(no pun intended).  I need guidance just to begin.
