Can I setup Windows Media Center for Windows 7-64Bit to recognize ASTC Tuner Card in my PC? Because it doesn't see it as anything but an antenna in Vista Home Premium 64bit

I have a ATSC/QAL Tuner card and it only detects the tuner as an Antenna, which it isn't  I have seen similar posts on here and it says to apply the hotfix.  I have went and downloaded it and it says "It Does not apply to this system."

I have Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit SP2
The card installs fine  - AverMedia A188C PCIe Pure ATSC

Please Help.  I have tested and researched everything I could with no luck.  DO NOT POST A LINK TO

I have already been there a few times  :)

Some people are telling me there is no fix for this and I need to use something else besides media Center?

If this is the case does it work with Media Center for Windows 7 64-bit?

I would suggest you to try uninstalling and reinstalling the device back on to the computer.
 
You can also check for the latest drivers and install them.

In this method we will try to Boot in Safe mode with Networking and see if the error still persists.

• Search "MSCONFIG" and Open.
• Click on Boot Tab
• Tick Safe Boot in Boot Option
• Select Network.
• Click Apply and OK.
• Reboot your System.

2. After the scan is done, you can see the errors and problems need to be repaired. Click Fix All.

3. When the Fixing part is done, your computer has been speeded up and the errors have been fixed
