How Can You Fix - BSOD Error 116 (without actually getting a Blue Screen before shutdown)?

BSOD Error 116 (without actually getting a Blue Screen before shutdown)

Hello, I have a new Dell XPS 8300 that is hardly a year old yet is giving my problems when it sporadically shuts down.
At first it was occasional, but now its getting to the point that I can except/fear it to shut itself down during a normal session, even
when it is not under any strenuous tasks at the time. It's also worth noting that the computer does not actually display a 'blue screen' as of recently, and has been only going to a blank screen with no signal, waiting a few moments, and then shutting down. This
is the message I get upon start up:

Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
  OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
  Locale ID: 4105

Additional information about the problem:
  BCCode: 116
  BCP1: FFFFFA8010E9F380
  BCP2: FFFFF8800FF43630
  BCP3: FFFFFFFFC000009A
  BCP4: 0000000000000004
  OS Version: 6_1_7601
  Service Pack: 1_0
  Product: 768_1

I am running Windows 7 64 bit, I have 12.0 GB Memory, and my Processor is Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40 GHz 3.40 GHz.
My Graphics card is an Nvidea Gforce GT 530.
And yes, I have updated all of my drivers.
I'd really like to know if anyone knows what's
going on here, and if there is any way to fix it.
