ATI Catalyst Control Center issue windows 8

Hello, I have upgraded my ph pavillon g series to windows 8.
But now when I start up, I get the error message that ATI Catalyst Control center needs to be reinstalled.
I tried a bunch of times but it keeps coming back (reinstalled, tried the ATI site updates,
 nothing helps, it says my driver is okay)
And second, sometimes when I start up it just gives a grey screen (then I press the power button for 5sec to shut it down).
I think it could be related to my graphic card issue.
I am a patient person but i'm getting a bit scared because i have the feeling
i won't take long for my laptop to crash serious if I have to keep doing this.
Anyone some sollutions for these 2 problems I have?
